Not a bad card game. I thought it was mahjong, but it turned out to be... interesting. Of course, not everyone will like it, because it is especially difficult, but I had fun. Amerika ya!

Azumanga Donjara Daioh DX should work for both desktop and mobile devices with mouse or touch controls. Please note since it is built in Godot you must use a web browser with SharedBufferArray support like Chrome.

BASIC DONJARA RULES
Make three groups of three tiles before your opponents to win the round. You must call RIICHI before being able to win, but doing so means you're no longer allowed to change you hand shape. You can only STEAL tiles from the player to your right hand side, unless it is the tile you need to win the game by calling DONJARA.
Each hand combination is worth a different number of points based on theme and rarity, so be sure to read the YAKU LIST in game. The player with the most points after 8 rounds is declared the winner.

You're not far off, donjara (also known as ponjan) is basically the kids version of mahjong. There's a lot of different themed sets for various IPs like One Piece, Dragon Ball, Hololive, etc.
i just realized the UI is very similar to Mahjong Souls along with the sound effects
great remake tho, still wish they could reboot the manga thanks to the popularity since like 2023 aside from focusing on Yotsuba
